In 5 out of 10 meetings that Bodhih has, there is a discussion about how we recommend a two day workshop to produce the desired results and the client can only afford to take its team out for one. One big reason for this is that training is hugely discredited in many organizations and HR and L&D folks literally have to beg and plead with the management (the same management that complains about its staff not being competent enough) to get employees out for training programs. It is as if the business heads are doing the L&D team a favour. This lack of understanding of the importance of training in producing results is what drives this whole behaviour.
