Facilitation Skills


Effective facilitation skills can benefit the organization in a number of important ways.
A notable example is the area of conflict resolution.

Having a facilitation process which is seen to be neutral and unbiased can be positive.

Facilitation allows everyone to have an input in a safe environment and ensures involvement by staff in decisions. This in turn motivates staff by promoting greater ownership of organizational decisions

Another example is in the area of continuous improvement campaigns where facilitation provides the conduit for improvement suggestions and their implementation.

From the above examples it can be seen that facilitation has many attributes that add value in an organization in terms of how it uses the most valuable resource – its people.
